Eight Morris County Wrestlers still eligible to win State Titles.

Delbarton's Ty Agaisse (106), Nick Farro (113), Christian Innarella (120) and Josef Johnson (160), Roxbury's Stephen Caserta (106) and Dillion Artigliere (160) as well as Jefferson's Bryan Damon (113) and West Morris' Nick Matthews (138) are still in the hunt to become state champions.

Most impressive out of the group was Innarella who defeated Marcus Miraglia of Delran, 7-2 in the preliminaries and pinned Brick Memorial's Joe Ghione, a two time state medal winner, in 5:07 after nearly falling by pin himself twice earlier in the match.

"I was kind of nervous coming down this year," Innarella said. "I went for a move early in the Ghione match and he nearly caught me. I fought off my back and knew that I need to take advantage of my opportunities on the mat. I did that and won."

His teammate Farro looked equally impressive, winning his match 7-4 over Bergen Catholic's Tyler Casamenti, 7-4. The freshman knows what he needs to do to advance.

"I just need to wrestle how I know I am capable of," Farro said. "I need to be aggressive on the mat and it has worked out for me so far."

The first set of wrestlebacks start Saturday at 10 a.m. with the quarterfinals to start at roughly 11:30.

Videos are up on the site of both Innarella's two matches.
