About the Event:

On May 11^th at Wayne Valley High School, the yearly tradition returns as GardenStateHSWrestling LLC, Champion Athletes, Apex Wrestling School, and the Harrington Companies present the 11^th Annual GardenStateHSWrestling.com All-Star Charity Classic. This unique event brings together the top Boys and Girls wrestlers in Hunterdon, Morris, Passaic, Sussex and Warren counties, in addition to some wrestlers from the Skyland Conference to compete with the proceeds going to charity.

There are four teams chosen by Donald J. Brower (GardenStateHSWrestling.com), James Clarke (GardenStateHSWrestling.com), Nick Gantaifis (Daily Record) and Brad Wilson (Lehigh Valley Live). The tournament will be a 2-1-1 format with a :30 overtime period. There will be a pair of semifinals matches for both boys and girls. The winners advance to the finals and the other go to a 3rd place match. The champion is awarded 4 points down to 1. We total up all the points at the end and the manager of the winning team gets to pick which charity we donate the proceeds to.

Spectator Information:

Tickets:

Ticket Sales will open on Monday, April 15th. Tickets can be purchased online for $21.23 ($20 + $1.23 service fee) using PayPal or Credit/ Debit Card (we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, and EnRoute). Online sales will remain open until the conclusion of the event.

If you purchase your tickets online, please hold on to your Order Confirmation email (either printed or mobile) as you will need to show this when you arrive at the venue to confirm your ticket purchase.

Tickets will also be available at the door for $20 (Cash, Check, or Money Order Only).

Event Times:

Doors will open to spectators at 12:30 PM with wrestling scheduled to begin at 1 PM. We will start with girls semifinal matches then move into the boys semifinal matches. We will then move into the girls championship and third place matches, followed by the boys championship and third place matches.

There will be a brief intermission in between the boys semifinal and girls medal rounds where we will do team photos.

The tournament will be a 2-1-1 format with a :30 overtime period. There will be a pair of semifinals matches for both boys and girls. The winners advance to the finals and the other go to a 3rd place match. All NFHS Wrestling rules apply (we will be using the new 2024-25 rules including 3pt takedowns, Almost college out of bounds, and Backpoints are 2, 3 and 4)

Spectator Code of Conduct:

Spectators are expected to act in an appropriate manor while at the event. Any spectators who are aggressive or disruptive towards others, or engage in any verbal, written, or physical conduct related to race, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or religion will be asked to leave the facility and may face additional discipline.

Wayne Valley High School also prohibits smoking (including e-cigarettes/ vaporizers) and possession/ consumption of controlled substances, including alcohol. Anyone found to be in possession of any controlled substances or appear to be under the influence of a controlled substance will be asked to leave the facility and may face additional discipline. 

A Parent/ Guardian must accompany all spectators under the age of 14 during the event.

Live Stream Information:

We will be live streaming each Mat on GardenStateHSWrestling.com. Viewers will be able to purchase a stream pass for $11 at least 48 hours before the event and through the conclusion of the event. Please click the “Live Stream” link to watch/ purchase a Watch Pass.
