Longtime Parsippany Coach Fred Piotrowsky resigned as head coach earlier today.

Piotrowksy, previously the coach at Parsippany Hills, has been mat side for the team since 1995.

When reached for comment, Piotrowsky stated he wishes the team well in the upcoming season but he had to step down.  

Team sources have said they are shocked by this news and state emphatically that he was not fired.

No successor has been named at this time.
